How much does land clearing cost in Houston?
|
Depending on the type and concentration of trees and brush, a good round number for the cost for the clearing of a typical lot hovers approximately $5000-$10,000 per acre. This is a good starting number to think about the typical cost and to explain where the final price would land depending on your lot size and density of plant matter. The price can also drop if the density of plant matter is light.
If you have a lot of acres, you could expect the cost per acre to drop to the single thousands (4-5k) depending on the volume of acres you have and the density of the trees and shrubs. If you have less than an acre, (i.e. lots under 43560 SF) the price equivalent may be higher than $10k/acre. This is especially true if the property is hard to access, or if there are a lot of plant and trees. |
Is There a Land Clearing Cost Per Hour?
While we don't offer this service specifically, you can estimate that the price to clear lot to be approximately $350/hr.

Land Clearing Contractor in Houston, TX
|
We provide you with a great land clearing service at a great price.
By owning the necessary equipment, we have been able to reduce our prices and we can give your lot the makeover it deserves without breaking the bank. We can provide you with a great rate once we know the following aspects of your project: (1) Location (2) Number of Acres (or SF) (3) Estimation of the extent of shrub and tree growth. (4) Scope of work (i.e. remove only underbrush, or also take down large trees) |
Once we are able to see the land we can give you a rate that takes into account the specific parameters of the job and gives you a price break on things that will be easier to accomplish. In the picture above (below on mobile), the land appears to need mainly tree removal rather than a lot of shrub removal. This makes the estimation more dependent on the number of trees that need to be removed for development and less dependent on the area to be processed.
